Groupon is buying LivingSocial, plans to downsize business to 15 markets from 27. Today, Groupon announced it would acquire LivingSocial, its onetime big rival that was partly owned by Amazon, for an undisclosed sum.
Redeeming an Expired Groupon
- Find your expired voucher on your My Groupons page, under Credit Vouchers (on the website) or Expired (on the mobile app).
- The amount you paid for the voucher can still be used at the business toward the purchase of the goods or services originally advertised in the deal.
Shares of Groupon (NASDAQ:GRPN) tumbled on Wednesday after the company reported abysmal fourth-quarter results and announced that it would exit the goods category to focus on its local-experience marketplace. The stock was down about 41% at 2:05 p.m. EST.

When you can get a refund
Cancel your order before it's processed for shipment or return the product for a refund to Groupon Bucks within 30 days of receiving it, unless otherwise stated in the Fine Print. You may also be able to exchange your item for a new one.Your expired voucher must be redeemed towards the goods or services offered on the Groupon you bought. If your code isn't working:
Make sure you're using the correct code. The only code that can be redeemed for your deal is the code labeled "Redemption Code", located at the center of your Groupon voucher. This is different from the confirmation number, which cannot be used for redemption.Deals get posted at midnight and customers usually have about 24 hours to nab it, although sometimes the limit is reached early. (During that window, you can use the discussion board on Groupon.com to ask questions and get input from others.)
