A loose cable can cause satellite signal problems. Switch your Sky box off at the mains and then check your cables. The two dish input cables should be securely connected to DISH INPUT 1 and DISH INPUT 2. You can check this by gently turning the cables clockwise – but take care not to unscrew them.
Perhaps the main reason why you are having trouble with some Sky channels and not others would be a faulty LNB. You can get a problem with your LNB where you lose approximately 1 quarter of the channels or one half of the channels. To fix- A new LNB will need to be installed onto your satellite dish.
First, you'll need to:
- Connect your computer to the television using HDMI cable.
- Ensure you have a Sky Go app on your TV and Wi-Fi is working fine.
- While on the Sky Go app, start watching your content and choose to mirror your screen.
- Stream a video, and the content on your laptop screen will cast on your television.
