The chief security officer (CSO) is the company executive responsible for the security of personnel, physical assets, and information in both physical and digital form. The importance of this position has increased in the age of information technology (IT) as it has become easier to steal sensitive company information.

Rated positions are flying related -- Pilot, Combat Systems Officer (previously known as Navigator), Remotely-Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Pilot, or Air Battle Manager.
Because Air Force UAV flyers must be commissioned officers, a trip through one of the officer training pipelines – such as four years in the Air Force Academy, or a few months at the Officer Training School (OTS) for those who already have a degree - is the first step.
The WSO is trained to operate the weapons systems, not fly the aircraft, but does have basic flight controls including throttle, stick, rudder pedals, compass, HSI, etc. The WSO has a very specific and complex set of tasks which does not include flying the airplane, and his controls are designed around that purpose.
Here are the steps you can take to become an aviator:
- Join the Air Force.
- Earn a bachelor's degree.
- Meet officer qualifications.
- Attend officer training school.
- Pass initial flight training.
- Pass undergraduate pilot training.
Called aircraft commanders (ACs) in bombers and tankers, they were also known as pilots or pilots-in-charge. Yet in some foreign air forces, the navigator (some times called the plotter) might indeed be the senior officer and aircraft commander. In the USAF, however, pilots ruled.
The primary reason any fighter aircraft would be designed for two crew members is work load. As avionics, sensors and weapon systems advance they become easier for a single pilot to operate, which is why far fewer fighter aircraft have two crew members now than in the past. They are for training pilots to fly them.
Overview: The MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA), commonly known as drones, have individual pilots and crews who are physically located in control centers often thousands of miles from the aircraft.
CSTS 2020 Information Sheet (PDF)On its own, CSTS 2020 Fundamentals is an interactive nine-module online course that serves as a general construction site orientation for workers new to the construction industry. And, it takes only 2 to 3 hours to complete.
Many employers are now planning to make SiteReadyBC certification mandatory for all workers entering any project construction site. SiteReadyBC completely replaces and improves on the CSTS-09 program previously used by BC employers to certify 75,000 construction workers in the province.
The Common Safety Orientation (CSO) is intended for new workers in the oil and gas industry. With content that is driven and endorsed by industry, the CSO provides consistent safety messaging that clearly explains safe work practices and eliminates the need for redundant general orientation training.
