How to create a professional business card in minutes

Choose File > New (from the File menu at the top of the screen), then click Stationery on the left side of the template chooser. To open Pages, click the Pages icon in the Dock, Launchpad, or the Applications folder. If the template chooser (shown below) doesn't appear, hold down the Option key and choose File > New (from the File menu at the top of your screen) to open it.
Under Pages, make sure to choose Multiple pages per sheet, and then click Print.

Word vs Pages: creating documents
In both apps you tap New and choose either a Blank Document or a Template. Word has a good selection of templates, but for our money the selection in Pages is better. Pages has 65 templates compared to Word's 18 (a lot of Pages templates are slight variations, however).A file with the PAGES file extension is a Pages Document file created by the Apple Pages word processor program. PAGES files are actually just ZIP files that include not only the document information necessary for Pages but also a JPG file and an optional PDF file that can be used for previewing the document.
If you can't open a Pages document, make sure that you have the latest version of Pages from the Mac App Store. If a document is dimmed and can't be selected, it means the document can't be opened by Pages. You can open and edit Microsoft Word documents (files with a . doc or .
Pages will save the file in your user's Library -> Application Support -> iWork -> Pages -> Templates -> My Templates folder. Once saved, you'll be able to access your templates in the My Templates section of Pages' template chooser (File -> New from Template Chooser).
Check the Avery site for pre-made label templates designed for use with Apple's Pages. You can open a Word template in Pages, but you'll often need to adjust the measurements slightly to make the templates work.
I would select all of the User Templates, right-click on them, and choose Copy nn Items from the Finder contextual menu. Then hop out to iCloud Drive : Pages : User Templates, and with a right-click inside that folder, paste the templates into it. Do not move the originals.
To edit Apple Pages document online you can use any device connected to the internet. Just go to the ScanWritr web and upload the document you want to edit. Then fill it, sign it, preview it, export it and that's it.
You can also do a search on Internet for templates iwork. Best would be to create a template to your liking. I have put some there, but Pages does not show them in the Template Chooser. Open them from wherever they are stored now and Save them as Templates from within Pages.
Templates can also be downloaded and imported into Pages and can be used alongside the Apple templates. We have updated our list of very useful free templates, and some paid templates, so you can quickly create your presentation and get your business done.
Click "My Templates" in the sidebar. Right click on the template you want to delete. Choose "Delete". Confirm it.
