If you are not home to sign for your package, a doortag will be left at your door and the driver may reattempt delivery.
Section 253 of the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW) states that falsifying a document is a crime. Signing a document as someone else without that person's permission falls under this category as forgery.
How late does UPS deliver? Other than time-definite air deliveries, shipments are generally delivered anytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (and sometimes later) to residences, and by close of business for commercial addresses. UPS cannot schedule a specific delivery time within that window.

If you don't need a regular pick up, you can call your courier directly whenever you have parcels for collection. If you're a one off sender, you can arrange this through Parcel Connect and select your collection date.
It's Fastway Couriers policy to obtain a signature on all deliveries. Fastway delivers on Monday to Friday only, not on weekends. You must select a preferred delivery date within five days of the original delivery attempt date.

What is Authority to Leave? When a sender or receiver gives Sendle 'authority to leave' (ATL), they're giving the delivery driver permission to leave the parcel at the delivery address without a signature when the parcel is delivered (as long as it's safe to do so).
