You can only set default music services that are shown in the assistant settings.
- On your Android phone or tablet, touch and hold the Home button or say "OK Google."
- In the bottom right, tap More. Settings.
- Tap Services. Music.
- Choose a music service. For some services, you'll be asked to sign in to your account.
To change your default apps, open up Settings then tap Apps. Hit the three-dots icon in the upper right-hand corner and select Default apps to see a list of available categories, including ones for browser and SMS messages. Simply choose a category, and you can pick your ideal default from a list of available apps.
How to Change Default Map on iPhone?
- Open Google app on iPhone.

Unfortunately iOS devices don't allow you to set Spotify as the default for playing music on your phone.
You can't set any apps as default apps on your iPhone. In Google's apps, you can, in the settings for that app, select which apps that app will link to. For example, in the Google Search app, tap on the settings icon in the upper left of the main screen. You will then be able to select which mapping app to use.
There are three text messaging apps that come already installed on this device, Message+ (default app), Messages, and Hangouts.

Go to Settings. Tap Messages. If the indicator next to the iMessage switch is green, tap or slide the switch to turn it off.
With iMessages it does not come through Verizon Messages. The iMessages run over Apple's networks and doesn't filter through our system.

Change your Messages notifications and settings

SMS stands for Short Message Service, which is the formal name for the technology used for text messaging. It's a way to send short, text-only messages from one phone to another. These messages are usually sent over a cellular data network.
How to Manage Messages on Your iPhone
- View the next message by tapping the next message arrow at the upper-right corner of the screen (it's the downward-pointing arrow).
- View the preceding message by tapping the previous message arrow (the one pointing upward).
- Flag the message to denote its importance or mark it as unread.
On one iPhone, go to Settings > Click the account name > Choose iCloud. Scroll down to locate Messages > Toggle it on if it is not, then all iMessages on it will be synced to iCloud. Please make sure your iPhone has connected with stable Wi-Fi.
