From Notification Panel press and hold the WiFi icon until you enter WiFi settings screen. Select the network properties (tap the gear icon or menu icon). Depending on the Android version check: Read the “Frequency” setting – shows as 2.4 or 5GHz.
First,please make sure that the camera had been connected to WiFi. Second, if the camera had been connected to WiFi, please check the WiFi distance from the camera to router: For Wansview indoor camera , the distance should be within 25-30 feet. For Wansview outdoor camera , the distance should be within 45-50 feet.
Using the Admin Tool
- Connect to your WiFi network.
- Go to Gateway > Connection > Wi-Fi. To change your Channel Selection, select Edit next to the WiFi channel (2.4 or 5 GHz) that you'd like to change, click the radio button for the channel selection field, then select your desired channel number.
- Select Save Settings.
Launch the Wansview app, Click to access Add Camera page and select“Add cameras via WiFi mode”. Check the camera's blue light, if it is flashing slowly, please tap “Blue light is flashing slowly”, and Scan the QR code on the bottom of the camera, and name the camera.
