My 10 year-old is fine with it and it does not really encourage violence or anything. It is quite fun (I've played it with my son!) and not scary to my boys at all! There is not much violence (besides mild shooting) and no bad language at all.
Halo 5 paid off a lot of other stories that they've been telling for years. Unfortunately for the extremely vast amount of fans, those stories were in book form. Halo 4 had a great campaign (at least from a writing perspective) but pretty bad multiplayer. Halo 5 has great multiplayer but a less-than-stellar campaign.
If Fallout 4 (2015) was a movie, the game would be Rated R for strong sci-fi violence/gore, disturbing images, language and drug material. Not recommended for anyone under the age of 16 years old. Fallout 4 is a first person shooter and open-world action role-playing game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world.
Now, when you put the project to action, when you finished with halo reach, the content should say T-M: Blood (on or off) Language (on or off) Violence, not only for halo reach, but for all the games when you finish changing them to where the player can go to settings and turn off blood and language.
This game is appropriate for mature 12-13 year olds or 14 and up.
You rarely listen to any cursing in Halo. You can hear more in other First Person Shooter games like Gears of War or Call of Duty.
Halo: Combat Evolved, in my opinion, is one of the best shooters of all time. While the anniversary does have blood, it's either blue or purple, and it comes out of aliens. On the first mission escaping the ship, there are dead bodies lying around and lots of red blood, but it looks painty and there is no gore.
The game is rated as 'M'-Mature (age 17+) it shows it on the front of the box.
The only story based FPS of the time was Half-Life, but the multiplayer was poor. Halo managed to do both. The story gameplay was excellent and the multiplayer was strong enough to stand by itself. Halo also had several features that were new to console FPS games like coop gameplay, vehicles and intelligent AI.
It was originally so successful because of the original graphical integrity, being a launch title for the original Xbox, and for being around before CoD could hog the show. Plus great mechanics, fun Co-Op gameplay and a fun (and surprisingly deep) story. These together made Halo into a juggernaut.
Halo 1 is a masterpiece, and both are still very worth playing if you like good shooters. I recommend to play them on a console though, I hated the PC ports. TheJare: Halo 1 is a masterpiece, and both are still very worth playing if you like good shooters.
Halo revolutionized more than just the controls, though; for its time, it had the best AI, best physics, and best graphics of any console FPS, and it more or less introduced console players to LAN play. Also, it was one of the first console FPSs to integrate vehicles like it did.
The Halo franchise took a huge turn after their lead production company, Bungie, stopped making Halo games. Once 343 Industries stepped up to continue the legacy, the games had a whole new feel. Halo Online's official servers were taken offline in December 2015, and the game was originally scheduled to launch sometime in 2016, but was cancelled after a long hiatus, with the game's developers citing delays from Microsoft, who "failed to make decisions on the future of the project".

Currently, split-screen is not available on PC, however, cross-play co-op is possible. The campaign co-op breakdown is as follows: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary – 2 players max, split-screen or online. Halo 2: Anniversary – 2 players max, split-screen or online.
Nope, Master Chief is not a woman. As seen at the end of Halo 4.
How old is the Master Chief?
Since the first Halo, Master Chief has donned a helmet and his face has never been fully revealed. This is unlocked when players finish the game on the tough Legendary mode, and the final shot has John stripped of his armor, with a tight close-up of his eyes seen when the helmet is taken off.
Halo Infinite will be the last standalone Halo game for the foreseeable future, but much more Halo is still coming. “Halo Infinite is the start of our platform for the future,” he said. “We want Infinite to grow over time, versus going to those numbered titles and having all that segmentation that we had before.
Yes and no. They are not in love in a romantic sense, but they do love each other. So yes, the Chief and Cortana are in love with each other. But indications from 343 at the moment are that it is platonic, not romantic love.
