In FY19, the earning from passenger segment was Rs 3,121 crore, up from Rs 2,616 crore in FY18. Non-passenger revenue in FY18 was Rs 536 crore and this improved in FY19 to Rs 594 crore which includes income from rental, lease as well as consultancy-related sources.
The metro services were shut on March 22, in view of Covid-19 outbreak. On Friday, the Delhi Metro recorded a total ridership of 1,28,886 (till 7.30pm). The DMRC resumed its services on September 7 in a phase-wise manner. The gradual opening will be completed on Saturday with the reopening of the Airport Express line.

The DMRC will pay the private firm for the manpower provided based on hours the train run. This, DMRC hopes, will prove economical in the long run. Currently, the pay grade of a train operator is Rs 20,600, one of the highest for non-executive DMRC staff.
Delhi Metro Services at Three Metro Stations Not Available From 09:00 AM To 11:00 AM Tomorrow. However, interchange will be allowed at Central Secretariat Metro station. Normal services for these three stations will be restored at 11:00 AM. The Metro services on all other Metro stations will run as per normal schedule.

The candidate must be an Indian national to apply for any post offered by DMRC. Candidates belonging to foreign nationalities are not eligible to apply for this exam. The candidates applying for executive or non-executive posts must be more than or equal to 18 years while the maximum age requirement is 28 years.
