Suffocate died after he was shot three times in the chest by Pearl Gennaro. This came about after Khulekani Ngobese who had been trying to get rid of Suffocate for some time now engineered his death.

Sipho Ngema, the Mzansi actor much loved for his roles in Uzalo and Rythym City died of heart failure caused by pulmonary hypertension last week – he was just 47. According to his daughter Mbali, he passed away in a Johannesburg hospital.
Masilela was shot during an attempted hijacking in Tembisa South and died in hospital on August 3 last year. Gauteng police said Masilela and a friend sped off after they were approached by attackers in a Jeep on August 2.
A number of such celebrities passed away in 2020 including Kobe Bryant, Chadwick Boseman and Naya Rivera. Bryant passed away in a helicopter crash on January 26 in Calabasas, California, alongside his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others. He was 41.
One of South Africa's most celebrated musicians, Johnny Clegg, has died at the age of 66, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Known as the "white Zulu", he was a vocal critic of the apartheid government which ruled until 1994.

Uzalo actor Masoja Msiza who is popularly known as Nkunzi on the SABC1 soapie was presumed dead on 3 September 2020. In a video, Masoja Msiza said he was alive, well and kicking. He said he was alive through the mercy of God.
There are reports that Nay Maps and TK Dlamini are coming back to the SABC 1 telenovela Uzalo. The two played the role of Mxolisi and Mastermind respectively. The duo are said to be coming back to save MaNgcobo from the situation she was put in by her husband Nkunzi.

Uzalo fans will be pleased to know that The Two Sons Of Fame, Mastermind and Mxolisi will be returning to KwaMashu once again. Mastermind, played by TK Dlamini and Mxolisi, played by Nay Maps will be returning to Uzalo to save MaNgcobo from her current slump.
