Goldenyan can be freed from the Crank-a-kai by using Orange Coins. A Goldenyan lies in a state of low power within the Trophy Room located in the center of Gourd Pond Park, which is firstly accessed to the player by obtaining their first Yo-criminal Trophy.
Four quests must be completed to obtain Kyubi. The first quest is called "Flower for the Shrine." This quest can be obtained from a lady in the Gourd Pond Museum during the Post Game. You must find the Forever Flower item by defeating Pinkipoo in the Yo-kai World. It will randomly drop or may be in wisps.

Draggie (Japanese: ?????, Ryū-kun) is a Rank D, Earth-attribute Yo-kai of the Slippery Tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch. Draggie evolves into Dragon Lord when fused with a Dragon Orb. In Yo-kai Watch, Yo-kai Watch 2, and Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, Draggie is one of the Yo-kai required to unlock Shogunyan.
Take the F Series Bell to the Science classroom in the elementary school. When you have the "F Series Bell," Robonyan F will appear somewhere in Springdale Elementary. If you beat him in a fight, you'll have a chance to befriend him!
Shadow Venoct can be found in the Infinite Tunnel, or via the Crank-a-kai in the present time, with a Light-Blue Coin, Five-Star Coin, Special Coin or Glitzy Coin.
Venoct is based on Yamata-no-Orochi , the eight-headed serpent that terrorized Japan during the age of mythology, and demanded young maidens in sacrifice.

Insomni can be freed from the Crank-a-kai. She can also be befriended by beating Insomni's Challenge (finishing Stage 70 in 70 seconds).
In Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls, Darknyan will immediately appear and can be found in the warehouse where Dame Dedtime was fought. In Psychic Specters, the player must complete the post-story quest 'The Darknyan' by talking to Hovernyan, who can be found on the top of Mt. Middleton of Harrisville in the present.
Miradox evolves from Mirapo when fused with Espy. In Yo-kai Watch 2, Miradox is a Yo-kai needed to unlock Spoilerina. In Yo-kai Watch 3, it is changed to Shogunyan.
You must equip the Yo-kai Watch in order to begin acquiring Yo-kai medals from various FATEs around Eorzea, however to acquire Legendary Yo-kai medals required to grab the 17 weapons in this event, you must have the correct minion summoned and participate in FATEs in the specific areas for that minions Legendary medal.

Kyubi can be befriended by completing the quests after finishing the game which are Flower For The Shrine, An Offered Sword and Take Out Tengu!. After the quests are finished, The Legendary Kyubi can be activated which will be befriended after the quest.
