Japanese (Kondo): variously written, the most usual form being with characters meaning 'nearby wisteria', and actually designating 'Fujiwara of Omi' (Omi no Fujiwara). Kon ('near') is the Sino-Japanese pronunciation of chika, as in Chika-tsu-awa-umi ('Nearer Lake', now Shiga prefecture).

Despite the season, at least three onesies can be bought in a newborn size. Then, it is better to opt for 0-3 size. Remember that onesies with built-in footies should have sufficient length so that not to prevent your baby from movements.
Tightly roll your blanket, starting from the side, you just folded on top. Pinch the edge of your blanket and stack the end on top of the rest of the blanket. Roll your sheet as tightly as you can. Use your hands as a guide in keeping the blanket secured as you roll it.
Fold the sleeves in, on top of the main body of the sleeper. Next, fold the legs up to the collar of the sleepers, then in half again. If they are bulky, fleece sleepers, you can always use thirds instead of fourths, or alternatively, roll them, instead of folding.

Knitwear, including tops, pants, skirts, and dresses, should usually be folded. However, if you're tight on drawer space, a sweater can be folded in half, shoulder to shoulder, and draped over the bar of a wooden hanger with a piece of tissue paper in between.
How to Fold a Sweater
- Lay the sweater out flat in front of you with the arms outstretched.
- Fold in one side with the sleeve facing out.
- Fold the sleeve over and down.
- Repeat on the left side.
- Visually cut the piece of clothing into thirds and fold starting from the top.
Folding Jeans Efficiently
- Fold your jeans in half length-wise. In other words, fold one leg on top of the other and align the top of the jeans.
- Fold the jeans again so that the bottom cuff sits just below the back pocket.
- Fold the knees up to the bottom of the pockets.
- Fold the jeans in half one final time.
Pleated skirts and dresses are some of the trickier items to pack. To keep a fully pleated skirt looking sharp, lay it flat or fold in half lengthwise, between dry cleaner bags toward the bottom of your bag.
