People's values define what they want personally, but morals define what the society around those people want for them. Certain behaviors are considered to be desirable by a given society, while others are considered to be undesirable.
Findings of the study revealed a list of spiritual values, namely, benevolence, charity, dignity, forbearance, hope, humility, kindness, loving, modesty, peace, perseverance, piety, repentance, righteous, sacredness, sincerity, steadfastness, striving, trusting, truthfulness, unity, and wisdom.
Healthy spirituality gives a sense of peace, wholeness and balance among the physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of our lives. However, for most people the path to such spirituality passes through struggles and suffering, and often includes experiences that are frightening and painful.

Spirituality involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic or divine in nature.
Spiritual transformation refers primarily to a fundamental change in the place of the sacred or the character of the sacred as an object of significance in life, and secondarily to a fundamental change in the pathways the individual takes to the sacred.
What then is moral change? Presumably, moral change involves changes in the collection of propositions and imperatives to which we offer our intellectual assent, i.e. changes to what we believe is good and bad or right and wrong.

For example, sometimes your mood will swing between feeling confident and happy to feeling irritated and depressed in a short span of time. These frequent swings in how you feel are called mood swings. They may occur due to shifting levels of hormones in your body and other changes taking place during puberty.
Moral decisions are based on either being good by following the rules or being bad by breaking them. For example, a child may think, 'I don't want to be spanked so I'm not going to hit my brother!' Stage 2 is about self-reward. Moral decisions in this stage are based on getting a reward that is personally meaningful.
The physical changes that occur during puberty give rise to a variety of social and emotional changes as well. First, the ongoing physical maturation process directly affects body and brain to alter children's needs, interests, and moods.
