It's not possible for a student to remove a file they've submitted to an assignment. However, as long as the deadline for the assignment has not passed, you should be able to submit a second file.
Hi Faith: Yes. Can teachers see if you Unsubmit work on Google classroom? Either way, from the teacher view, the teacher will also be able to see if and when you submit, unsubmit, or resubmit an assignment of any kind.
If a student accidentally submitted or they need editing access back at a later point the student can click on the “Unsubmit” button in Google Classroom. If the student has the document already open, they will need to refresh the document to be able to edit the document again.
If you're an instructor, you can click on Files in the course navigation and click on a particular file; the trash can icon will appear in the bar at the top, and you can click on the icon to delete it.
The Editing An Existing Assignment dialog box appears. Select Cancel to return to the Platform & Classes page. Select Delete Assignment to continue the process. The Delete Assignment dialog box appears.
Remove a Student From an AssignmentClick REPORT next to the appropriate assignment ? Click REMOVE for the student you wish to remove from the assignment Note: You will not be able to remove a student if they have already submitted work.
You will see the same assignment on the screen, but you cannot edit. You can unsubmit until the work has been graded, as long as the work is not late. Click Yes, submit to turn in your work.
Students who resubmit their assignment - no grades yetIf an instructor has not yet graded an assignment that has been resubmitted, they can only grade [4] the student's most recent submission [3]. However, comments with annotated feedback using DocViewer are available to the instructor for all submissions.
Through a mobile device
- Open the Compass App.
- Click on the Hamburger Menu in the top left of the app.
- Select Learning Tasks.
- Expand the class list and select the Learning Task you wish to submit work for.
- Select the Submissions tab, then Add Submission.
- Select from My Files.
- To take a photo of a piece of work, select Camera.
