While War Mode doesn't traditionally increase rewards Warmode increases War Resources, gold, rep, and Mana Pearls on live right now. Also, what do you mean you "checked Nazjatar"? It might not show up on the quests themselves, but with the buff active, you will see the increase to rewards when you receive them.
Historically it's absolutely been worth it, especially if you have Call To Arms so +30% XP, not +10% XP. Last time I leveled 1-120 with War Mode on I got in three PvP fights over the entire time (all of them in Legion - literally no-one at all attacked me in BfA).
War Mode is the only way to participate in open-world PvP. You can opt-in from your talent pane while in your faction's major capital city—Stormwind for the Alliance, and Orgrimmar for the Horde. While in War Mode, you receive a 10% bonus to experience and gold, but can only interact with other War Mode players.
We'd like to confirm that, yes, the expected War Mode bonus for Visions of N'Zoth Daily Quests has been disabled since Thursday. This was necessary for our team to work to quickly fix a different issue. Last Thursday, Blizzard disabled the War Mode bonuses from Visions of N'Zoth daily quests.
War mode does not give any extra reputation. Only XP, and world quest rewards.
Go to your main city (Stormwind on Alliance, Orgrimmar on Horde). Go to the talents tab and there will be a button on the right that says "Enable war mode", just toggle it on and you're done.
Does War mode work in arena/battlegrounds? Arenas and battlegrounds are automatically war mode as far as the war mode talents are concerned.
Players may only activate War Mode at Stormwind City or Orgrimmar by using the Talents interface, or deactivate War Mode at any rested location (including inns and other cities).
War Mode offers you an extra Talent at Levels 20, 30, and 40. While you have War Mode turned on, players of the other faction will be attackable.
PVP Talents (or “Honor Talents”) unlock at level 110. At level 110, you'll automatically earn your first Honor Talent, Gladiator's Medallion, which replaces the old PVP trinket. After that, you'll earn a new Honor Talent roughly every three honor levels — levels which are gained through participating in PVP content.
Dungeons might be on par if you get a great group that smashes everything, but most of your groups won't be like that. Questing is a lot more consistent for xp/hour. Questing is BY FAR the best way to go.
Once you hit level 10 with your new character, you'll be able to “go back” to any previous expansion until you hit level 50 and begin the Shadowlands story.
Dungeons are only efficient if you have the end of zone quest for them, otherwise they're mostly a waste of time. Questing is still the fastest, and it will take you 7-10 hours depending on spec if you're trying to go fast.
This expansion will take your character from level 10 to level 50, where you'll then jump into Shadowlands. Players who have already completed Battle for Azeroth on one character will instead get to choose between BfA and one of the previous seven expansions to level through to 50.
As you hit level 50, you will get a Dying World quest from Magni – this starts your adventure. Whether you used heirlooms or not during leveling, you will have your item level at approximately ilvl 50-54 – that's our first checkpoint. Follow the quest to Silithus and acquire Heart of Azeroth necklace.
Talk to the person next to the hero's call board next to the AH, they should have an exclamation point above their head, that starts the BfA Questline.
I'm pretty sure they said the War Mode skills and bonuses only apply in places where PvP can happen, so they probably won't work in dungeons. Dungeons give horrible exp, dont try to just do them.
