In a united front across major sports in multiple American cities, the New York Mets opted to not play Thursday's series finale at Citi Field against the Miami Marlins. This decision makes the Mets the first New York-area pro team to postpone a game in protest of racial injustice.

DISH Network customers, who subscribe to America's Top 60+, DishHD Silver or any higher package, now have access to these games on channel 438. "We are thrilled to announce that starting tonight, SportsNet New York will be available to DISH Network subscribers," said Jon Litner, President of SportsNet New York.
Founded by Sterling Entertainment Enterprises, Time Warner and Comcast, SNY is available to viewers throughout New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and northeastern Pennsylvania, and nationally on DIRECTV, Verizon FiOS, Comcast Cable, and AT&T U-Verse.
Frontier Communications will no longer carry the regional sports network SNY, leaving some Connecticut residents without access to New York Mets and UConn basketball games, a company spokesman said Tuesday.
SNY was the first regional sports network in New York to provide college and professional games to Verizon. Big East football and basketball games, as well as SNY's original programming, have been available on FiOS TV VOD since last fall.
