Unlike pull out spray taps, taps with a pull out aerator have just one flow, but this doesn't make them any less practical. They might not be as good at blasting away stubborn stains, but they are still excellent for rinsing fruit and veg, general cleaning, filling pots and pans, or watering windowsill plants.
IKEA secured a five-star review for durability, before landing on four stars for overall satisfaction and everywhere else.
Very pleased with the quality and working of the bath/shower taps - and good to see the taps are marked (unobtrusively) by the manufacturer (Bristan), as many taps I have had previously lack any marking, making it virtually impossible to order any spares. Also, very efficient and helpful customer service.
Mono basin taps - or monobloc taps - are the most common type of basin tap in modern bathrooms. As the name suggests, they require a single tap hole and have a single spout from where both hot and cold water is dispensed.

If your Franke Ascona Tap is dripping from the spout then it is most likely that you need to change the valves (one or both).
Great oven - value for moneyWe had never heard of Franke before, but the price compared to other brands was great. The oven is also great for making pizzas. The oven is made in Italy and we can only highly recommend it to anyone requiring an uncomplicated work horse.
Clearwater SinksManufactured in Italy and Asia to the UK market. Most of the models can operate with low water pressure systems and are excellent value for money. They all come with a five year guarantee and many of the taps are covered by WRAS.
Franke Granite Sinks are extremely durable and non-porous making them long-lasting and very hygienic. This also means cleaning them is quite simple too. Using a soapy nylon brush and scrubbing in circular motions will usually do the trick. Just remember to thoroughly wash away any extra soap left behind after cleaning.
Tectonite is heat-resistant up to 300°C. And while Tectonite is light in weight, it's much more resistant to impacts and blows than comparable materials. So even if you drop something on it, it's less likely to show any scuff or chip.

The standard faucet hole sizes for kitchens and bathrooms are 1 3/8″ (1.375 Inches or 34.925 mm) in diameter unless otherwise mentioned in the specification. However, faucet holes may vary in size depending on the particular make and model.
Functionality. The last reason faucets are so expensive is the functionality and extra abilities that have been added other than on/off features. Traditional and cheaper faucets will have a hot/cold water option that will turn on and off.
In fact, a pull out faucet offers a number of the same benefits as a pull-down faucet. Avid cooks may prefer a pull-down faucet as its height makes it easier to fill tall pots and cookware. If you have a shallow sink, a pull-out faucet may be more beneficial, as it has less splashback than the pull-down model.
All tap holes are standard sized at 1 3/8 inches wide, but some faucets require a 1 1/2 inch hole. Tap holes are spaced apart 4 inches on center for center set faucets, and 6 to 8 inches on center for widespread faucets.
Standard taps and spouts generally require a hole of at least 22mm in diameter. Monobloc mixer taps, taking both a hot and cold supply, mostly require a minimum 32mm diameter hole.
All of our taps can be described as deck-mounted. This means that they can be installed on your worktop, rather than the wall, and are also described as 'surface-mounted'. The term simply means that the bottom of the tap sits flush against the surface it is mounted on.
