It is revealed that Archer survived but has been in a coma for three months, trapped in a 1947 noir-esque Los Angeles setting called Dreamland. It also reveals the fate of Woodhouse (whose original voice actor George Coe died in 2015), the heroin-addicted valet of Archer dying shortly before the season premiere.

At San Diego Comic Con 2018, it was announced the tenth season will be titled Archer: 1999. Reed intends to leave Archer after its tenth season, although plans have not yet been finalized for the show's future.
Last season, Lana held Archer as he passed out, but the event didn't trigger anything in Archer's subconscious that brought him back to the real world. Obviously, she'd only be dead in Archer's “Dreamland,” but the finale gave no evidence we'll be leaving this fictional space anytime soon.

Season seven ended with Archer face down in a pool, bleeding from a gunshot wound. From what we know about the past few seasons, we see that Archer is in a coma and isn't dead. He has been in a coma for the last two seasons as all of these stories now take place in his dreams.
Archer is ready to party like it's 1999 — in space! The new season of FX's long-running animated series announced its new title for Season 10, and despite the futuristic setting, the new moniker alludes to a time 19 years in the past.

As long as the show can still deliver in that regard and have fun while it's doing it, then it deserves to live on and Archer Season 10 (titled: Archer: 1999) definitely has the most fun that the series has had in some time.

In 2016, FX Networks gave “Archer” a three-season pickup, carrying the show through a tenth season. Soon after, Reed said he was planning to end the series with Season 10. Now, he's not so sure. Reed even said they “could do all the Bible stories.
Seamus McGoon. Seamus Sterling McGoon, often referred to as "the Wee Baby Seamus," is the son of the prostitute Trinette. While Trinette initially claimed that Sterling Archer was the father, this was later revealed to be false.

Instead of changing the name of the central agency, Reed changed the entire concept of the show. “Well, if we're going to” change the name, Reed said, “why don't we just spend a season selling cocaine?”
How did Archer survive the season 7 finale. He falls down a cliff twice in less than an hour and survives with only a broken arm, broken nose (I'm assuming), and minor injuries and bruises, just because he had pain killers (assuming his Mike 'n Vics). Pretty sure he's immortal.
