PvP Rating Explanation
Dragonite is, without a doubt, one of the defining Pokemon of the PVP metagame as a whole (if you're fortunate enough to have one with the right moveset).Draco Meteor is very powerful (it's the Dragon Hyper Beam, but slightly faster) however it has the same performance as Outrage when discounting energy wastage due to overcharge/overkill and fainting with the energy bar half charged.
There is absolutely no way at all to teach Charizard Draco Meteor, even though breeding. Draco Meteor is a move that is exclusive to Dragon type Pokemon, and unfortunately, the Mega Evolution wears off after the battle, thus making it Fire/Flying once again.
Dragonite doesn't need a mega-evolution. It is complete as a pokemon. Most megas are of stuff that weren't that good before. Pyroar's slogan: "Put 'em to rest with the pitch of the voice, WRAAAGH!"
If you are the kind of person that likes dodging and you are planning to
use your legacy
Dragonite as an efficient gym sweeper,
do not
TM that moveset! Dragon Tail is the best
fast move.

Draco Meteor will slightly outperform Outrage in some situations, but Outrage is still the best charge attack for Dragonite overall due to several reasons. Draco Meteor will only outperform Outrage in specific situations when Dragonite faints soon after performing its charge attack.
Dragonite (Japanese: ????? Kairyu) is a dual-type Dragon/Flying pseudo-legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Dragonair starting at level 55. It is the final form of Dratini.
Dragonite is a Dragon/Flying pokemon. This gives it a double weakness to Ice, making Ice moves extremely effective. It is also weak against Dragon, Rock, and Fairy moves. A pokemon with one or both moves of this type can deal a lot of damage.
Serebii reveals that there have been reports that Shiny Shadow Pokémon have been spotted in the game. Only Shadow Pokémon who were capable of being shiny already in Go can be found in their shiny form. That means players have the opportunity to capture Shadow Pokémon in their shiny forms.
Even in PvP it's not that good. It's the cheapest attack Raticate can have to bait shields. If it's true that Gardevoir will have a shadow version, then return could be great for her. She usually kills/dies before she can charge a shadow ball.
Is it worth the stardust to purify shadow Pokemon if you don't save it up? If you manage to catch a high IV one it might be worth it, because every stat gets +2, so it can become perfect after the purufucation. No, it is definitely not worth it. You cloud spend your hard earned stardust on much better stuff.
The base power of Return varies between 1 (at the minimum friendship value of 0) and 102 (at the maximum friendship value of 255). The base power of Return is set to 1 if the formula outputs 0. If the user's friendship is 127 or less, Frustration is stronger than Return.
Normal-type Pokémon also receive STAB, contradicting some of Nintendo's strategy guides.
Purifying a Shadow Pokémon will cost a specific amount of Stardust and Candy depending on which Pokémon you want to Purify and how strong it is. A Squirtle, for example, will need 2,000 Stardust and 2 Squirtle Candy to be purified, while a Blastoise will require 5,000 Stardust and 5 Squirtle Candy.
Pretty sure that once Return goes over 60 power, it's only getting STAB, not Technician. Bear in mind that it's max power is 102 (153 with STAB), which is still 12 points higher than 60 Power with Technician, so it'd still be stronger.
Trainers, We've received reports of developments regarding Shadow Pokémon. Whatever Team GO Rocket is doing seems to be making these poor Pokémon stronger as long as they remain Shadow Pokémon. Shadow Pokémon now deal more damage with their Fast and Charged Attacks, but they also take more damage when attacked.
It keeps Return as a move. (Confirmed yesterday with very good Bulbasaur that was purified and evolved.)
IMO Return is better than Frustration overall because it's a lot easier to raise a Pokemon's happiness from sheer level ups and EV training than it is from decreasing its happiness (on the cartridge) vs just typing in a simple number in PO. This.
Purified Pokémon cost less candy to evolve and less dust to power up. They also know Return, a normal-type attack. While Return is OK on a normal-type Pokémon, it's not super great on anything else and can be replaced.
If you are wanting to become a more powerful trainer while minimizing your stardust/candy cost, Purified Pokémon is the way to go. With more and more new Shadows being put into the game, this is actually becoming a better grind for high IVs than any other method in the game.
Shadow Pokémon are now the glass cannons of Pokémon GO. Earlier, there was no reason why trainers wouldn't want to purify Shadow Pokémon — purifying a Shadow Pokémon boosted CP to Level 25, get a +2 buff to all IVs, and decreased Candy / Stardust costs. It might actually be worth keeping a Shadow Pokémon now.
Charizard is a Fire & Flying Pokémon which evolves from Charmeleon. It is vulnerable to Rock, Electric and Water moves. Charizard's strongest moveset is Fire Spin & Blast Burn and it has a Max CP of 2,889.
We've discovered that during #TeamGORocket's main take-over on 3/7, you can now use a Charged TM to change a Shadow Pokémon's exclusive attack, Frustration, to other Charged Attacks that that Pokémon can learn normally.

Shadow Dragonite Counters & Weakness
Dragonite presents you with the classic dragon-type Pokemon weakness conundrum – it's dragon is weak to dragon, so the best way to down it is to bring along another dragon-type… but then that will also be twice as vulnerable to Dragonite's attacks. It's also weak to Ice, however. To defeat Dratini in Pokemon Go you must take advantage of its Type Weakness(es). Being a Dragon Type, Dratini is vulnerable against Fairy, Dragon and Ice Type Moves. To take on Cliff, you'll need at least one really good fighting-type and at least one really good ice-type. Having a water-type on hand is a great idea as well. Here's the team composition we recommend: Machamp, Mamoswine/Mewtwo (w/ Psycho Cut & Ice Beam), Kyogre/Kingler (w/ Crabhammer).
It cannot learn Dragon Breath (fast), Dragon Claw (charge), or Dragon Pulse (charge) anymore, and instead can learn Dragon Tail (fast), Hurricane (charge), and Outrage (charge). With the two new potential fast moves for Dragonite, Dragon Tail appears to be better for both attacking and defending.
25 Dragonite: The Dragon Pokémon
Being one of the best of the rare dragon type Pokémon (not to mention an intelligence near the level of humans), Dragonite is resilient and can learn some powerful attacks, including a long list of effective TMs (technical machines).Giovanni always starts off with Persian who is weak to Fighting type Pokémon, so go for one of the following: Machamp with Counter and Cross Chop, Conkeldurr with Counter and Dynamic Punch, or Lucario with Counter and Aural Sphere. Once you defeat him you'll get either Cloyster, Steelix, or Hippodown as the next foe.
Are you scared of psychics that use unseen power? Possible encounters feature Psychic type Pokemon. Grunts using this taunt will use Psychic type Pokemon from the Drowzee evolution line, all of which are easily defeat by your average Dark type Pokemon.
