All types of MassHealth including MassHealth Limited (emergency Medicaid) cover the costs of medically necessary testing and treatment for Covid-19 at no cost to members. All Health Connector plans cover the costs of testing and treatment for Covid-19 at no cost to members.
Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) are health plans run by insurance companies, like BMC HealthNet Plan, that provide care through their own provider network that includes PCPs, specialists, behavioral health providers, and hospitals.

Health Net POS is a two-tiered point-of-service plan. Members have the option to use benefits at an HMO benefit level or PPO benefit level whenever they need care. HMO benefits include PCP, referral to see a specialist, predictable payments, and no claim paperwork.

MassHealth does not look at your savings– you can have a large bank account or trust or things like that. You can only have up to $2,000 in savings, although there are certain types of assets that are not counted towards this limit.
MassHealth Limited coverage is available to people 65 and older who meet the income and asset rules for MassHealth Standard or MassHealth Family Assistance, but have an immigration status that keeps them from getting MassHealth Standard or Family Assistance. MassHealth Limited doesn't pay for long-term-care services.

One Care is a way to get your MassHealth and Medicare benefits together. One Care offers services that you can't get when your MassHealth and Medicare benefits are separate. With One Care, you have one plan, one card, and one person to coordinate your care.
Overview. MassHealth members can have both MassHealth and private health insurance at the same time. Private health insurance could be from your job, a family member, or a parent with or without custody.
In most instances, you can own a home and still get MassHealth coverage of your health or long-term care. While MassHealth has strict income and asset limits on eligibility, in most cases it doesn't count the home against those limits. spouse is living at home, you can keep it no matter its value.
Most people who receive Commonhealth will have a MassHealth card, but also are not part of MassHealth's managed care program (PCC or HMO). They are considered to be part of the fee-for-service program. If you are enrolled in an HMO, you will have a card from the HMO, too.
ConnectorCare is one kind of health insurance you can get from the Massachusetts Health Connector. ConnectorCare is for Massachusetts residents who: cannot get affordable insurance through work, and. cannot get other public insurance like MassHealth or Medicare.
