Samsung S4 will no longer supported.
Samsung has launched a battery replacement program in the wake of continued battery issues with the Galaxy S4. Samsung is inviting all affected users to visit their nearest service center where they can receive a replacement battery free of charge.
One of the most interesting features of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the ability of it to connect to LTE networks, more commonly referred to as fourth generation networks or 4G. Those who possess the device (…and the data plan to back it up!) can activate LTE connection, but it requires a little bit of a work around.
"For the Galaxy S4 16GB model," Samsung said in a statement, "approximately 6.85GB occupies [the] system part of internal memory, which is 1GB bigger than that of the Galaxy S3, in order to provide [a] high resolution display and more powerful features to our consumers."
How to update software on the Samsung Galaxy S4
- Swipe down from the top of the screen of your phone to get the notification tray.
- Tap the settings gear icon in the top-right.
- Tap the More tab at the top.
- Down at the bottom, tap About device.
- Tap Software Update and tap Update after that.
In the settings – Apple and a few Android brands
Some phones include the manufacturer date in the settings of the phone itself. Exactly where it might appear in the settings will vary, but typically somewhere under About Phone. We'd try something like “[your phone brand and model] serial number manufacturing code].with your Google account's credentials, log in to the Google Dashboard. Scroll to the section labeled "Android" and expand it (by clicking its title / the LGM [little green man]) Check the entry for the device you want to know the date for.
The manufacturing date can be usually found in the “About Phone” tab in settings. You can search the manufacturing date in that, but in some phone the manufacturing date isn't written straight away.

- Tap your Phone app and open up the dialer.
- Using the touchscreen keypad, Dial ##786# (aka ##RTN#). No need to press dial, the phone should automatically open up to the RTN screen. From here Tap View.
- Scroll down the RTN screen to Reconditioned status. Here there are only two possible status entries:
If there is an issue with the battery and your device is less than 24 months old your device will be deemed in warranty. If the device is older than 24 months, your device will be out of warranty.
