Re: USING FIOS WITHOUT STBYes. As long as the TV has a QAM tuner which most newer HDTVs do. Take the cable from the FiOS box and plug it into the coaxial input on the back of the TV. Next you will have to do a channel scan using the TV provided remote.

It's not as good as it could be, but it does give access to a ton of games, both live and full replays on demand. Main problem is that your local team will be blacked out along with any national TV games. So whatever plays on your local sports affiliate, ESPN, TNT, or NBA TV you won't get live through League Pass.

Re: FiOS TV installation questions: full house installationInstalls usually do not include fishing wires thru walls. The tech can connect all 6. Installs above normal connection of existing locations would be billed as time and materials. You would need a tech at your home to get an accurate price.

Verizon is launching a new feature on its Yahoo Sports app, called Watch Together, which will let you live-stream NFL games with up to three of your friends over video chat. You won't need to be a Verizon customer to watch games for free, but you will need to watch on a smartphone or a tablet.
Re: NFL Ticket on FIOS? The only thing FiOS can offer is the RED ZONE channel which jumps around to all the league games when a team is in the red zone. Unfortunately DirecTV has the exclusive carriage rights to Sunday Ticket so no other TV distributor will carry it.
