Monthly transit passes let you ride unlimited transit until the pass expires at the end of the month. Passes can be purchased at the following locations: Shoppers Drug Mart, Mac's, 7 Eleven, and various convenience stores.When you buy a Youth 31-day Pass, you'll save even more! Riding the bus every day to and from school (about 40 times a month) will cost you $42 (that $1.05 really adds up, doesn't it?). But a 31-day youth pass on your Clipper card is only $20. That's like getting half your rides for free.
The age at which you can apply for a free bus pass differs depending on where you live. If you live in Scotland or Wales, you become eligible when you reach 60. Those living in England must wait until they reach the state pension age.
Students in grades 9-12 are required to have a valid photo ID or school ID to purchase the fares or ride with a Student TAP card. If you prefer, just tap your unloaded card on the farebox when you board (bus only) and pay the reduced one-way cash fare of $1.
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The price of a city bus ride will rise in the new year. Effective New Year's Day, the one-way fare for adults will go up by a quarter to $2.75. A one-day pass for adults, meanwhile, will rise rise to $5.50 from $5. The one-day pass gives users unlimited rides for up to 27 hours.
Those buses cost $550,000 each from the now-defunct ETI, but Donaghy said a standard electric trolley now costs about $1 million. Diesel/electric hybrids can be bought for $750,000 but he said the ones RTA bought have been a disappointment and no more will be purchased.

The one-way fare for youth ages six through 17 will remain the same at $1.25. The monthly youth pass, however, increases from $30 to $35 starting Jan. 1. Children five years and under are still free when accompanied by a fare-paying passenger and not occupying a seat.
Bus riders may purchase a one-day pass from the bus driver, using cash. The passes are valid until 2:59 AM on the following date of purchase. Cost per boarding. No transfers issued.
Local Day Pass covers train travel in 1 or 2 fare zones and local/limited bus routes. Regional Day Pass covers travel in 3 fare zones, regional bus routes, regional SkyRide bus service, and bus and train travel to/from Denver International Airport.
The normal cost for a one-way bus trip is $1.50, and an all-day bus pass costs $4. Those who want to travel within Orange County by bus and train can buy a MetroLink all-day combination pass for $7.

You can either buy a ticket on the bus, use our mobile app, purchase by mail, phone or at an OCTA location. Rider tip: Have exact fare or use the OC Bus mobile app. You can use coins and/or dollar bills, but our fareboxes can't make change.
Valid for travel anywhere TriMet goes. Children 6 and under ride for free with a paying passenger.
One Day Convenience Pass. The One Day Convenience Pass is available for purchase on the reloadable, contactless chip SEPTA Key Card. Valid for eight rides on any bus, trolley, or subway route in one calendar day by one person for $9.00.
The official SamTrans Mobile ticketing app lets you use your phone to pay your fare and plan trips using SamTrans and other Bay Area public transit systems. Just download the free app, register your debit/credit card in our secure system, and we'll get you where you need to go.
You can use Clipper on all SamTrans routes. Clipper automatically figures out the cost of your ride, including all discounts and transfers. If you do not have enough value on your card, the reader will beep three times and display a red light, and you will not be able to pay your fare with Clipper.
Full time Further Education students who are under age 19 on 1 July 2020 and live more than 3 miles from the closest College campus offering their chosen course can apply for a free bus or rail pass for their travel to and from College. Students who travel by car can apply for assistance with fuel costs.
On the bus, you can pay for a one-way fare in cash. Buses accept $1 bills and most coins (no half-dollars). Transfer is not available when paying in cash on the bus.
Cash Fare. Riders do not need exact change. In addition to coins, the Metro Bus Fare Collection system will accept $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills.
Your GO Fare is based on whether you're an adult, senior, or student and the distance you're travelling between two specified points called fare zones. Children 12 and under can travel on GO Transit for free. To pay your fare, you can buy a ticket or pass or use your PRESTO card.

You may get discounted travel on public transport if you're a student on: buses – depending on your local bus company you may have to pay for a special student travel card or show your matriculation card to get the student discount. trains – you can get a third off most train tickets by applying for a 16-25 Railcard.
First Bus student bus pass
Annual, monthly and termly passes are generally available. Again, the prices and types of tickets on offer varies depending on whereabouts you're based, but in some parts of the UK like Aberdeen, Bradford and Leeds, you can get an academic year bus pass for around £340.The standard cash fare will increase from $3.75 to $4. Adult Presto per trip rates are going up from $2.95 to $3, while weekly passes will see a 50-cent increase to $33. Monthly passes will increase from the current rate of $122 to $124.

Up to 4 children under the age of 5 can travel for free, while children aged 5-15 will pay a discounted rate. Children aged 16 and over will be charged an adult fare unless they're eligible for a Scholar pass, unirider, VIP card or similar.
Bus: you can pay by cash directly on board the bus. You need to drop exact fare into the little box next to the driver. It's best to look up beforehand exactly how much the fare is, because the you will not get any change back.
Bus fares typically range from S$0.73 to S$1.66, while MRT fares range from S$0.83 to S$1.95, for a single trip journey when paying with an ez-link card.
If your trip requires the use of more than one bus to reach your destination, ask the driver for free limited-time transfer when you pay your fare. Transfers are valid for two (2) hours and can be used as your fare on any bus, in any direction.
You can use cash on Metlink buses but your trip will cost more than using Snapper. Please have the correct fare, as our drivers don't carry a lot of change. Child cash fares are 50% of Adult cash fares.
Tickets & Passes
EZ-Link cards can be purchased from the customer service counters at MRT stations for S$12 (this includes a S$5 nonrefundable deposit). The card can also be bought at 7-Elevens for S$10 (including the S$5 nonrefundable deposit).How do I use my contactless bank card for transit? Please take out your contactless bank card from your bag or wallet and tap on the fare reader at the train gantry or on the bus at the points of boarding and alighting. The fare reader will display “Bank Card Usage”.
Where can I purchase an ez-link card? You can purchase ez-link cards at 42 TransitLink Ticket Offices and 6 Concession Card Replacement Offices located at MRT stations and bus interchanges, at Passenger Service Centres within most MRT Stations and at 7-Eleven stores, including those located at Shell petrol kiosks.
