Due to the impact of coronavirus and the subsequent pressure put on our business, we've made a decision to focus on our busiest city centre stations. As a result, our trains will no longer be stopping at Ebbsfleet International until 2022 at the earliest.
When travelling on Eurostar from London, you don't always have to board at Kings Cross St Pancras International station. However please bear in mind that not all Eurostar trains are scheduled to stop at Ebbsfleet or Ashford so be sure to check ahead of time.
Who can travel through the Channel Tunnel? Foot passengers can travel with Eurostar, between our UK stations (London St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International in north Kent, or Ashford International in south Kent) and our stations on the continent .
Take the train from Ashford to AmsterdamFrom city centre to city centre, you could be in Amsterdam in just 3 hrs and 50 mins from Ashford international. With just one quick change in Brussels, Holland has never been closer.
Ashford International combines a busy parkway and hub station, with approximately 28 Eurostar departures a week.
You may only board the train at the station shown on your ticket. Once we're back in the UK though, you can get off at Ashford, Ebbsfleet or St Pancras International – just check where your train's stopping.

Eurostar aren't necessarily so expensive but are often dearer than the equivalent flight. Eurostar is consistently dearer than flying. Eurostar charge more because they can. City to city travel times are competitive, the travel experience is more convenient and it's sometimes quicker than flying.
Can you take food on the Eurostar? You're welcome to bring your own food from home. Unlike airlines, there are no restrictions on liquids so you can even bring a bottle of bubbly.

Taking the bus is the cheapest way to travel from London to Paris. Buses traveling from London to Paris depart from London's Victoria bus station and take at least 7:30 h to arrive in Paris.
Eurostar is the service that allows you to catch a train from London to Paris and beyond. There's a sea in the way, of course, but Eurostar dives under it, using the 31-mile Channel Tunnel.

It seems like it's cheaper to fly to London from Paris than to take the Eurostar. I saw a price of $89 to fly on British Air and a price of $120 to take the train via Chunnel.
Londoners…So, for as little as 100 or so pounds, you can go to Paris, explore the city and arrive back home in time for bed. In short, a day trip to Paris from London is definitely worth it. Like airlines, Eurostar uses dynamic pricing: the prevailing fare level depends on demand. Unlike airlines, Eurostar rarely nudges down prices to stimulate demand – while easyJet or Ryanair might reduce the fare for a slow-selling flight a month or two before departure, I have never seen Eurostar do that for trains.

Eurostar, which operates the Chunnel trains, no longer advertises a senior fare. Disclaimer: Some train systems may restrict senior discounts to citizens of European Union communities, even though their websites do not indicate any such restrictions.
LCR's holding was transferred to the Treasury in 2014, and sold by the UK government to a consortium comprising Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec (CDPQ) and Hermes Infrastructure on 28th May 2015.
The London terminus is St Pancras International; the other British calling points are Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International in Kent. Intermediate calling points in France are Calais-Fréthun and Lille-Europe, with trains to Paris terminating at Gare du Nord.

The Channel Tunnel is the longest undersea tunnel in the world: its section under the sea is 38km long. It is actually composed of three tunnels, each 50km long, bored at an average 40m below the sea bed. They link Folkestone (Kent) to Coquelles (Pas-de-Calais).

Eurostar has had a 100 per cent safety record during its 20 years of operation, with no accidents – although there have been some bad days.
For first-time visitors, I recommend spending at least 3-4 days in London. This should give you sufficient time to get acquainted with the city, see the main landmarks, and visit a few attractions. Also, don't try to see 'everything'. This is simply not possible and will leave you tired and frustrated.
