If you choose to drive from Calais to Paris by car, there are just under 200 kilometres of road between Calais and Paris. Because France's motorways are privately managed, the two main routes both have tolls. Expect to pay around €20 each way if you're in a car, though prices do vary depending on the type of vehicle.

It is not possible to drive a car or motorcycle through the Channel Tunnel. Instead, motorists must drive onto the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle train, which boards at the Channel Tunnel terminals in Folkestone and Calais.

To get from Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport to Disneyland, you have three transfer options, taxi, shuttle bus and train. The cheapest and most popular transfer option is taking the TGV train. Tickets cost 17.50€, and the total journey time is 45 minutes, including a 30 minute train waiting time.

The Channel Tunnel runs between Calais in northern France and Folkestone in south Kent. Vehicle traffic for Le Shuttle gets on in Calais and gets off in Folkestone. Calais is about three hour's drive from Paris and Folkestone is about an hour and a half's drive from London.

How to get to Paris. The distance from Calais to the capital is around 180 miles, However, Dieppe is the closest ferry port to Paris. It is situated just 120 miles away with the drive taking under 2 and a half hours. The journey takes you through stunning French countryside, on a rural route passing Rouen.
And when it comes to Disneyland Paris, it really isn't as good as Disneyworld in Florida (sorry). However, if you live in the UK and you have very small children, like we do, it is truly worth it. It's much closer and cheaper than Paris – you wouldn't be able to go all the way to Florida for just 3 nights.
In general, January and March are the best months to visit Disneyland Paris in 2021 if you want to avoid crowds. However, crowds are not as big of a worry as other aspects of your visit, such as available attractions. Having said that, September is also particularly light.
Hi. Normally the cheapest time is between Christmas Season and Spring season. Friday / Saturday arrivals are usually the most expensive. A package price can depend on different offers, so remember to check the offers on different Country Disney sites, not just the UK.
Re: Is Disneyland Paris safe? It's as safe if not safer than anywhere else in Europe, which in turn is safer than most other places in the world. Enjoy yourself and stop worrying.
