The RC helicopter gyro is a small device that detects any yaw (left or right swinging) movement of the helicopter and automatically sends a command to the tail rotor servo (or tail motor on small fixed pitch tail rotor helicopters) to correct and stop/limit the yaw movement.
In aircraft instruments, gyros are used in attitude, compass and turn coordinators. These instruments contain a wheel or rotor rotating at a high RPM which gives it two important properties: rigidity and precession. The rotor or gyro can be electrically or vacuum / pressure driven by a special pump on the engine.
The stabilizers' job is to provide stability for the aircraft, to keep it flying straight. The vertical stabilizer keeps the nose of the plane from swinging from side to side, which is called yaw. The horizontal stabilizer prevents an up-and-down motion of the nose, which is called pitch.
A tailplane, also known as a horizontal stabiliser, is a small lifting surface located on the tail (empennage) behind the main lifting surfaces of a fixed-wing aircraft as well as other non-fixed-wing aircraft such as helicopters and gyroplanes. The function of the tailplane is to provide stability and control.
In the conventional configuration the horizontal stabilizer is a small horizontal tail or tailplane located to the rear of the aircraft. Trim tabs may be used to relieve pilot input forces; conversely in some cases, such as small aircraft with all-moving stabilizers, anti-servo tabs are used to increase these forces.
A: The horizontal stabilizer, or rear wing, helps keep the airplane in level flight. This means it prevents the nose from tilting up or down, keeping the center of lift over the center of gravity. The horizontal stabilizer also holds one of the plane's control surfaces known as the elevator.
Advantages. The tailplane is kept well out of the disturbed airflow behind the wing and fuselage, giving smoother and faster airflow over the elevators.
A gun stabilizer is a device intended to facilitate aiming a gun by compensating for the motion of the platform on which the gun is mounted. The primary armament of all US tanks was stabilized at least by 1944. The aiming is then done by control input to the mechanism, rather than directly on the gun.
All parts of an airliner's horizontal surface move, not just the rear part. The rear part, called an elevator, can move much faster and is for maneuvering. The forward part, called a (trimmable) stabilizer, is for trimming and moves slowly.
As lift is generated, the wing pitches up, which increases the angle of attack, increasing lift. So, basically the horizontal stabilizer produces a positive lift, but a negative pitching moment. The bigger the horizontal stabilizer is, more the lift and stability, but also the drag.
Like a stabilator, the trimmable stabilizer features a fully moving horizontal tail surface. The system also reduces drag as the stabilizer surface and the elevator are in alignment whenever the aircraft is in trim.
Description. APM 2.8 Multicopter Flight Controller is an upgraded version of 2.5, 2.6; with a Built-in Compass for FPV RC Drone. In addition, it turns multirotor vehicle (even cars and boats) into a fully autonomous vehicle. meanwhile, it is capable of performing programmed GPS missions with waypoints.
A drone controller works by sending a radio signal from the remote control to the drone, which tells the drone what to do. Radio signals are sent from the radio transmitter in the drone controller and received by the drone's receiver.

F4 flight controllers were introduced shortly after the F3, and quickly gained popularity due to its processing power advantage. They can be found in many FC's on the market such as the Kakute F4 AIO, DYS F4, Matek CTR AIO, Raceflight Revolt and BrainFPV RE1.
Flight controllers are responsible for all of the operations products (procedures, flight rules, displays, etc.). Flight controllers attend various meetings such as TIMs (Technical Interchange Meetings), SRPs (Safety Review Panels) JOPs (Joint Operations Panels) and gather information about the mission.
If you want to do Aerial Photography, the DJI NAZA M V2 is the best flight controller for the job. The flight characteristics are smooth, it's easy to fly with, and it has a lot of features like intelligent-orientation-control and return-to-home.
