For drinking water you can add Milton (which is 1% chlorine), 12 mls to each 20 litres of water. This is safe to drink for normal healthy people. This is not quite as good as chlorine in killing "bugs", but is perfectly adequate in the UK and North America.

I sterilize by wine making stuff with milton, but my jam jars, I run them through the dishwasher, then just prior to filling, put them in the oven for 30 minutes at about 120 C. With the milton on the wine equipment, I rinse it off with freshly boiled, cooled water. Hope this is useful, Emma.
DON'T use milton fluid, it attacks the stainless steel and will leave small holes in the flask. Don't know about the sterilising tabs, but have always done OK with bicarb of soda and boiling water since destroying acouple of flasks with Milton Fluid.
Sanitizing is an extra step to kill more germs on items that have been cleaned. Sanitizing feeding items provides more protection against all infections. How often should bottles be cleaned? Bottles should be cleaned after every feeding.
Can I dry baby bottles after sterilisation? Thankfully, you can cross this off your to-do list. Any water left inside the bottles after sterilisation is sterile and won't collect germs so there's no need to dry. Milton sterilizing fluid is produced by Procter & Gamble for sterilization uses. It contains 1% sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) and 16.5% sodium chloride (NaCl; common salt). 1:80 dilution is used to sterilise babies' feeding utensils, including baby bottles.
To remove mould from ceilings and walls, make a weak solution of water and plain thin household chlorine bleach (scant 60ml per one litre of water) and scrub off the mould with a soft brush. Incidentally, if you have babies and therefore Milton sterilising fluid around the house, you can use Milton instead of bleach.
Summary: Yes, this product SHOULD be fine for brewing, but only if you rinse with sterile water after to ensure that no bleach is left on the gear. And its probably WAY more expensive than using plain bleach, or a proven brewing sanitizer.
