One of the major reasons for the popularity of Zoom is that it is a free HD meeting app with video and screen starting for up to 100 people. The free version of the app enables users to add up to 100 participants in a call, users can also enjoy unlimited 1-to-1 meetings and 40 minutes of group callings.

Join a meeting from your browserIf you were invited to a meeting via a URL link, click the URL link. If you want to join the meeting with your meeting ID and passcode, go to , enter your meeting ID, and click Join . The †Open Zoom Meetings? †Screen will pop up.
How to set up a Zoom meeting on the mobile app
- Open the Zoom app on your mobile device.
- On the "Meet & Chat" homepage, tap the "Schedule" tile at the top of the screen.
- Enter the meeting name and set its date and time.
- Tap "Save" or "Done" in the upper-right corner when you're done.

Zoom offers a full-featured Basic Plan for free with unlimited meetings. Try Zoom for as long as you like - there is no trial period. Both Basic and Pro plans allow for unlimited 1-1 meetings, each meeting can have a duration of 24 hours maximum.
Zoom needs iOS 9 and later, now! While you could purchase another older 8 or 9-year old iPad, like an iPad 2,3, 4 or 1st gen iPad Mini to use the Zoom app, these old iPads have virtually NO MORE older popular third party apps available to these very old iPads any longer, either!
Use Zoom
- Adjust the magnification: Double-tap the screen with three fingers (without lifting your fingers after the second tap), then drag up or down.
- Move the Zoom lens: (Window Zoom) Drag the handle at the bottom of the Zoom lens.
- Pan to another area: (Full Screen Zoom) Drag the screen with three fingers.
To fix the “your device is not compatible with this version†error message, try clearing the Google Play Store cache, and then data. Next, restart the Google Play Store and try installing the app again.
You can join a Zoom meeting or webinar, which allows you to dial in to a virtual meeting without a computer. you do not have a microphone or speaker on your computer. you do not have a iOS or Android smartphone.

You can be signed in to Zoom on one computer, one tablet, and one phone at a time. If you sign into an additional device while logged into another device of the same type, you will be logged out automatically on the first device.
Zoom uses roughly 540MB-1.62 GB of data per hour for a one-on-one call, and 810MB-2.4 GB per hour for group meetings.
You can join a Zoom meeting with a regular phone without an internet connection. This is a great option if you're on the road and don't have access to an internet connection.

How to see everyone on Zoom (mobile app)
- Download the Zoom app for iOS or Android.
- Open the app and start or join a meeting.
- By default, the mobile app displays the Active Speaker View.
- Swipe left from Active Speaker View to display Gallery View.
- You can view up to 4 participants' thumbnails at the same time.
