Click your browser's “Reload” button while in your Gmail account to make the Gmail “Loading” page appear. Locate the “Load Basic HTML (for slow connections)” link at the bottom of the Gmail “Loading” page. Click the link to switch to Basic HTML view form Standard HTML view.Click the "Plain Text" link on the formatting toolbar, which is directly on top of the Compose window, to turn off HTML formatting. Click "OK" when Gmail warns you that the Plain Text setting will remove formatting and inserted objects. Compose your email and send it as you would normally.
Gmail, the free email service operated by Google, has an email composer packed with features. You can send email in one of two modes: rich text and plain text. If you use rich text formatting, you can send HTML emails that use the same formatting code as Web pages.
In Gmail, there isn't an explicit button for you to view your message in plain text. However, you can click the down arrow button beside “Reply” and select “Message text garbled?”. This will open a new window and display the email content in plain text. This is what you will see.

How to edit email templates
- Select an email template in the templates tree.
- Press the F4 key on your keyboard or the Edit icon in the toolbar: Also, you can right-click on the template and select the Edit option:
- Make the necessary changes and click Save to save the template in Outlook.
Change the message format for all messages you send
- On the File tab, choose Options > Mail.
- Under Compose messages, in the Compose messages in this format list, click HTML, Rich Text, or Plain Text.
Create HTML Email with Outlook for Office 365

Insert a template

The Gmail Templates folder in your Google Drive is a place where your Gmail templates are stored. When you click on “Save Template” icon inside your Gmail composer then a template will be saved in “Gmail Templates folder in your Google Drive.

You can inject HTML code into the message body via the Insert as Text option; tab Insert-> (Attach) File-> select the created htm-file-> press the down arrow on the Insert button-> Insert as Text.
