How To Process a Refund
- Access Folio tab.
- Click on the gear icon next to the transaction made through the gateway in myfrontdesk.
- Click Refund transaction.
- Enter the amount to be refunded (by default it will be the full amount of charge), but you can change it if you are processing a partial refund.
- Click Process Refund.

Well, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) circular dated September 19, 2019, on the harmonisation of the Turn Around Time (TAT) and customer compensation in case of failed transactions, if the money debited from customer's bank account does not reverse back to the bank account within the specied time period,

If you file a complete and accurate paper tax return, your refund should be issued in about six to eight weeks from the date IRS receives your return. If you file your return electronically, your refund should be issued in less than three weeks, even faster when you choose direct deposit.
As per the circular, if the money debited from customer's bank account does not reverse back to the bank account within the specified time period, due to a failed transaction, then the bank is liable to pay a penalty of Rs 100 per day to the customer. If not done, then penalty of Rs 100 per day beyond T+1 is levied.
