Similar to Amsterdam, the Hague is incredibly diverse with numerous nationalities due to the presence of consulates in the Hague.

Maastricht would be the warmest but only something like 2 - 3 degrees warmer on average than the north of the country. Limburg is probably the most beautiful provincy with the hills there, most of the rest of the country is flat.

Because the Netherlands is situated by the sea, it is very windy. The Netherlands is also very flat, allowing the wind to pass with no big obstacles. Due to global warming, disturbances occur more often above the oceans. These disturbances are then pushed towards the Netherlands by the current.

Once winter really hits, you'll want to have a warm coat. Temperatures rarely drop below freezing — but they can get close. More importantly, be prepared for rain and snow.
