Facebook Analytics Getting Started Guide for Pages
- Go to facebook.com/pages/create.
- Click to choose a Page type.
- Select a more specific category from the dropdown menu and fill out the required information.
- Click Get Started and follow the on-screen instructions.
Facebook Insights tracks likes, page views, and more. Facebook analytics tells you who your audience is and how they're interacting with your page. It's packed full of insights and data that can help you get the most from the social network that reaches 1.62 billion users every day.
To view page level Reach, just click on the Statistics tab. By default, you will be taken to the page-level data. Scroll down, and you'll see a graph for Reach. To view the post level Reach, click Posts from that Statistics tab and then select Reach from the second drop-down.
Later doesn't offer Facebook analytics at this time. Later's Free and Starter plans include Analytics Lite. Upgrade to a Growth or Advanced plan to access all the Analytics Standard data we offer.
Reach is the number of actual people who have seen the story, while Impressions is the number of times your story has been viewed. So if you posted a story and reached one person who viewed your story five times, Insights would show one reach and five impressions.
Start by tapping on the menu icon in the top right corner of your Instagram profile, and then click on “Insights” tab, which will open the analytics for your business profile. If you made the switch to a business profile very recently, it may take a while for Instagram to generate data for your account.
Tap the bar chart icon to access Instagram Insights from the Instagram app. The first analytics screen shows high-level insights for the last week and comparison stats for the week before. You can view your total impressions, reach, profile views, and website clicks.
Instagram Insights is a very useful analytical tool developed by Instagram to give businesses more insights into the performance of their page. Right now it's sadly not possible to get Instagram Insights without having a business profile.
Go on the photo that you'd like to check, and tap 'View Insights'. Instagram will then show you a breakdown of the number of times the photo has been saved, as well as the number of users it reached and the number of profile visits you received off the back of it.
Click on any of your pictures you want to see Insights for. 2. A little bookmark icon will show on the right hand side. The number next to it is the number of people who have saved your posts.
Delete a Promoted Instagram Story
- Go to your Profile.
- Tap Promotions.
- Tap View Insights under the promotion you would like to delete.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Promotion.
Insights are only available on the Instagram mobile app. You can view Instagram Insights after you convert to a business or creator account. If you switch back to a personal account from your business or creator account, you'll lose access to insights.
The data is collated and stored continually, but Insights presents you with a week at a time. This is updated every 24 hours on a rolling schedule, so you see 7 days at a time, updated every day.
