Spyro is the titular main character and protagonist of the Spyro video game series, including The Legend of Spyro, and a guest character in the Skylanders series, first appearing in Spyro the Dragon in 1998. Spyro is a young male purple dragon.
Getting 100% means you'll have to rescue all 12 Eggs, rescue all 80 Dragons, and collect no less than 12,000 Gems!
Spyro can jump with X, as you'd expect, but he's capable of more than that. Firstly, holding down the X button will make him jump higher than if you just tap it. Secondly, if you press X again in mid-air, Spyro will begin gliding.
Spyro is given the ability to fly at will, allowing for more exploration. The game also features a two-player co-op mode, with player two controlling Spyro's friend, Cynder. If there is no player two, then the player may switch between Spyro and Cynder during gameplay.

Cynder is a black dragoness who appeared in The Legend of Spyro and is the primary love interest of the main character, Spyro. Originally a servant of The Dark Master, Cynder was defeated and freed by freed by Spyro.
The games use a combination of close-combat and platforming gameplay, though the gameplay is more oriented towards combat than previous games in the Spyro series were. The story revolves around Spyro, the protagonist, and his efforts to stop Malefor, The Dark Master, from destroying the world.

To clarify, the second and third games will not have an additional cost and will be an immediate download upon release.
The game is partially playable without updating - I just got the physical version and chose start software before downloading. When selecting any of the three games, "Some levels require download" is listed below them. So far playing the first area and intro to the first game has been fine.
For Spyro Reignited Trilogy, you only need to install the first game onto your platform before you can begin playing it. You can even boot it up and start playing while Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon continue to be downloaded and installed onto your console at the same time, so you're okay on that front.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is playable offline. However, you'll need an internet connection to download some of the content to your console. Once all levels are downloaded to your console or hard drive, no further internet connection is required.
The truth is, you can't. Or rather, you can't manually save. All three Spyro games included in Spyro Reignited Trilogy utilise an autosave system, which means you never need to worry about doing it yourself.

I rented it and it was just a patch that included the games, so yes, buying it used is fine.
After defeating plenty of Gnorcs, Spyro's ego gets pretty inflated - and you can literally give him a big head to match. The combination on this for PlayStation, once in the pause menu, is "Up, Up, Up, Up, R1, R1, R1, R1, Circle".
A general playthrough will take you nine hours to finish, while doing some of the extra mini-games will net you with 10 hours of overall playtime. For completionists, they'll be spending around 12 hours to clear the entire game.
