Your account number won't change when the expiration date does unless you request them to do so. Your card will arrive with the same account number printed on it and a new expiry date and CVC number.
If you're worried about your credit card expiring, you don't have to be. Your card issuer is probably handling the process in the background. Shortly before your card's expiration date, the issuer should automatically send you a new card in the mail.
