WVEC meteorologist Craig Moeller is leaving the station. Moeller, who has worked at WVEC for 19 years this month, is going home to St. Louis to become the chief meteorologist at the station he grew up watching, NBC affiliate KSDK, he said.
Earlier this month, KSDK meteorologists Cindy Preszler and Mike Roberts announced they had accepted a buyout from KSDK's parent company, Tegna Media. Their last day at the station was April 22. Both Preszler and Roberts are considering future opportunities but hope to stay in St. Louis pending available employment.

KPIX weather anchor Paul Deanno is leaving the station for a job in Chicago. Chief meteorologist Paul Deanno is leaving the San Francisco TV station for a similar position at Chicago's NBC affiliate WMAQ. His last day at Channel 5 is next Friday, Oct. 4.

Anthony Slaughter is the newest face on television in St. Louis, reporting the weather as a meteorologist with KSDK Newschannel 5. Slaughter is a 2003 graduate of Hazelwood East High School. He attended Jury and Townsend elementary schools and Kirby Middle School, now known as Hazelwood East Middle School.
Lampkin grew up in north St. Louis, graduated from Parkway Central High and earned his meteorology degree at St. Louis University. He came to KSDK in 2012 and quickly became popular, aided by an engaging social-media presence.
On the flip side, Sullivan and Long join at least seven others who have left the KSDK building in the last seven months: Lead meteorologist Craig Moeller and fellow cloudwatcher Jessica Quick; reporters Rico Bush, Brittney Verner and Rachel Menitoff; sports reporter Josh Hellmuth; and anchor Christina Coleman.

Heidi Glaus announced she would end her 22-year run at KSDK (Channel 5) at the end of 2018. A New Madrid native, Glaus had been at KSDK since starting in 1996 as a college intern.
KPIX (CBS5) apparently has hired a new chief meteorologist — and it's no one you know. Rather than stay in-house, or raid another Bay Area station, KPIX has chosen to give the job to Paul Heggen, who has been working as a weekday morning weatherman for a CBS affiliate in Raleigh, North Carolina.
