If you find that your Windows wallpaper periodically disappears, there are two likely explanations. The first is that the "Shuffle" feature for the wallpaper is enabled, so your software is set to change the image at regular intervals. The second possibility is that your copy of Windows was not properly activated.
If you want to change the auto backup of your theme, then go to Settings, Accounts, Sync your settings, and then turn the toggle for theme to off. This should fix it.
On Windows 7, black wallpaper can also be the result of using a copy of Windows 7 that is “not genuine.” If Windows 7 can't activate with Microsoft, Windows will frequently revert your desktop background to a blank black image.
The black desktop background can also be caused by a corrupt TranscodedWallpaper. If this file is corrupt, Windows will not be able to display your wallpaper. Open File Explore and paste the following in the address bar. Open the Settings app and go to Personalization>Background and set a new desktop background.
In Group Policy Management Editor, expand User Configuration, expand Administrative Templates, expand Desktop, and then click Desktop. In the details pane, double-click Desktop Wallpaper. To enable this setting click Enabled. The wallpaper name should be set to either local path of the image or it can be UNC path.
