Why are paintings invisible in minecraft

According to the latest patch notes for 1.16.220, a known issue is that paintings appear invisible when placed. at first I thought it was the texture pack I had on, so I tried disabling it, and that didn’t work, so I downloaded a new texture pack for anime paintings and that also didn’t work. I didn’t have any issues with paintings after the last update, until I closed the game and came back to it. My paintings have apparently disappeared but the game acts as if they’re on the wall still when I try to place a new one. However, when I hit where the painting should be, it acts like I’m hitting the wall block behind.

The painting will be placed on blocks but is invisible. When you right click on it you are unable to change it. Tried to locate art folder, but cant seem to find it?

invisible paintings. PS4. The new 2.22 update on minecraft ps4 brought a bug, for me at least. Paintings are mow invisible, and do not show up. You place them,, and can break them, but they are transparent. Is this occurring for anyone else?
