Ziva will return to NCIS after the show takes a two-week break, with Season 17, Episode 10 due to air on Tuesday, December 17 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT. The episode will be a two-parter, with the as-yet-unnamed second part coming when NCIS returns on January 7, 2020.

Although many were upset Tony and Ziva didn't appear together onscreen, others were happy Ziva got a proper good-bye. When de Pablo left the show the first time, back in 2013, she said her good-byes to Tony on a tarmac. It was a sad, tearful good-bye.
Ziva left NCIS back in Season 11 to return to Israel, and Season 13 revealed that she and Tony had slept together before saying goodbye, and she had conceived a daughter.
