Warner Bros. split the seventh and final novel in the series, Deathly Hallows, into two cinematic parts. The two parts were filmed back-to-back from early 2009 to summer 2010, with the completion of reshoots taking place on 21 December 2010; this marked the end of filming Harry Potter.
When asked in an interview if the Hallows were based on any real-world myth or fairy tale, J. K. Rowling responded with, "Perhaps the Pardoner's Tale, by Chaucer." Although he never handled all three Hallows at the same time, Harry Potter was regarded by Albus Dumbledore as the true Master of Death.
Well, as he explains in Deathly Hallows, it's because by taking Harry's blood, Voldemort keeps him alive, even in death, giving The Boy Who Lived the opportunity to decide whether he wants to keep on living. Harry survived because Voldemort took his blood in GoF. His blood contains Lily's Sacrificial Protection.
His father was a muggle.Snape was a half-blood, born to a Muggle father named Tobias Snape and a witch mother named Eileen Prince. At some point during his school years, he decided to reject his father's name entirely, giving himself the moniker "The Half-Blood Prince" with his mother's maiden name instead.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the longest book in the series, yet it is the second shortest film at 2 hours and 18 minutes.
The Patronus of Harry's mother, Lily Evans, took the form of a doe. Lily is never seen casting a Patronus in the "Harry Potter" books or films, but Rowling has noted her ability to produce a corporeal doe Patronus on multiple occasions.
When J.K. Rowling first started writing the Harry Potter novels, self-publishing was not an option. The first book was rejected by numerous agents and a dozen publishers. Throughout that period, she continued to work on the book and improve it. After Bloomsbury bought the novel for £1500, it underwent further editing.
Among the (ostensible) reasons for rejection were too conventional, too long, too weird or too old-fashioned. As if any of these things matter to the audience for which Rowling wrote Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone! They just want a good story, for goodness' sake!

Some casual facts for you: Not only have the Harry Potter books sold more than 500 million copies, but they've also been turned into a massively successful film series and they're the inspiration for three whole amusement parks. So, yeah, J. K. Rowling is rich. In fact, she's richer than the Queen of England.
"So," you might be thinking, "why did they change it to Sorcerer's Stone for us Americans?" Warner Bros. It was changed by the American publisher, Scholastic, because it thought American children wouldn't want to read a book with "philosopher" in the title.
It is believed that J. K. Rowling was inspired by Doris Crockford in using a character of the same name.
After the near-disaster involving Voldemort, Dumbledore and Flamel agreed that they had no choice but to destroy the Sorcerer's Stone. The Sorcerer's Stone was eradicated but there was no indication how Dumbledore and Flamel destroyed the object.

Harry Potter – A Magical Year: The Illustrations of Jim Kay is set for release on October 5, 2021. It sounds like it would make a fabulous Christmas or holiday gift for Potter fans of any age who've always admired the illustrated editions but haven't acquired their own copies.

The next Harry Potter movie is coming sooner than we thought. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will be released in theaters on April 15, 2022, rather than July, Warner Bros. announced on Wednesday.
