Yes and No, she's nearly always alive in the comics, though there is an alternate universe where she dies of cancer[1]. Prolonged exposure to Peter's radioactivity (yes, sperm too, see below) does her in late in life, but in pretty much all of the Spider-man comics she lives.
Spider-Gwen is a comic book series published by Marvel Comics that began February 2015. The series revolves around the Gwen Stacy of Earth-65, an alternate Earth that debuted in Edge of Spider-Verse #2 as part of the 2014–2015 Spider-Man storyline "Spider-Verse".

The Ultimate Marvel incarnation of Jessica Drew, known as Spider-Woman and for a time as the Black Widow, has been an agent of SHIELD, a member of the Ultimates and New Ultimates, and a supporting character for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales.
Before the beginning of Spider-Gwen, high school student Gwen Stacy was bitten by a radioactive spider. This granted her all of the quintessential Spider-Man powers, and Stacy began her career as Spider-Woman. Gwen Stacy dons her Spider-Woman costume and fights Peter, defeating and accidentally killing him.

Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) is a fictional superheroine appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. At its conclusion, she was killed, and though later resurrected, she fell into disuse, supplanted by other characters using the name Spider-Woman.
In Marvel Comics, MJ and Peter have a child. In the main continuity, the couple have a daughter who they name May — after Parker's aunt. And another where Mary Jane and Peter remained married and have their daughter Annie, who has the her father's superpowers.
While in captivity, Mary Jane discovers that she possesses water-based powers like Hydro-Man, however, she also discovers that she and Hydro-Man are actually clones created by Miles Warren, and that the controversial cloning technology is unstable.
Emma Stone portrays Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man as Peter Parker's love interest. She works as an assistant at Dr. Curt Connors's laboratory at Oscorp, where Peter is bitten by a genetically-engineered spider.
The 1998 episode ended with Spider-Man going off to find Mary Jane, who had been lost in another dimension. I thought I made it very clear at at the very end that he was going to get to Mary Jane, but apparently I traumatized all of you.
