A chargeback reversal is the possibility of taking a chargeback from an issuing bank and reversing it. This process, known as representment, is when the merchant resubmits the transaction to the bank with evidence that the transaction was legitimate. First Data has extended its merchant alliance joint venture with Wells Fargo for five years, the US payments processor revealed today in its full year earnings statement. Wells now owns 60% of the company, with First Data holding 40%.
When you use a Wells Fargo account for settlement or other Merchant Services purposes, you must use a Wells Fargo business deposit account. Merchant Services are provided by Wells Fargo Merchant Services L.L.C. and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Merchant Services are not deposit products.
