Tatis' two slams in one inningWhile Fernando Tatis remains the only big leaguer to hit two grand slams in an inning, 12 other players have also clubbed a pair of slams in a game.
Alex Bregman established himself among baseball's best hitters in 2019 with a 1.015 OPS, 41 homers and 112 RBI for the Astros. He'll turn 26 in March and looks like a perennial MVP contender. He finished No. 2 behind Mike Trout in voting for the prize last season.
The record for most home runs in a single game is eight, held by Jay “Nig” Clarke for Corsicana of the Texas League on June 15, 1902. Five home runs in a game has been achieved four times: Pete Schneider (1923), Lou Frierson (1934), Cecil Dunn (1936) and Dick Lane (1948).

The chances of Pujols getting to 700 were already pretty slim. The slugger will enter the 2020 season 44 home runs shy of the 700 mark, and to get to that milestone in 2021, he'd have to join some pretty elite company.
The single season mark of 60 stood for 34 years until Roger Maris hit 61 home runs in 1961. Maris' mark was broken 37 years later by both Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa during the 1998 home run record chase, with McGwire ultimately setting the mark at 70.

This itself is not a complicated formula, however each of the singe components are more difficult to calculate.
Pete Rose holds the Major League record for most career hits, with 4,256. Rose and Ty Cobb, second most, are the only players with 4,000 or more career hits.
A home run occurs when a batter hits a fair ball and scores on the play without being put out or without the benefit of an error. These are extremely rare and typically only occur with a very fast runner at the plate and some sort of misplay by an outfielder that doesn't qualify as an error.
Ruth's home-run records, both single-season and career, might've been broken, but he still holds several major MLB records that show his unique talent. He won the home-run crown 12 times, including one time as a pitcher. Ruth was the first player to get 20, 30, 40, 50, and eventually 60 home runs.
When this question was posed early in 2019, I had given the answer that Mark Reynolds and Curtis Granderson had homered in every MLB ballpark. Both players have since retired, and we have one new ballpark for 2020 (Globe Life Park, new home of the Texas Rangers.)
Nobody's ever hit 50 home runs and stolen 50 bases in one season. Nobody's ever come particularly close. The highest aggregate is 88, turned in by Alex Rodriguez: 42 homers, 46 steals. There are only three other members of the 40/40 club: Alfonso Soriano (46/41), Barry Bonds, and Jose Canseco (both 42/40).
