Free shuttle trains are free for travel between Terminal 5 station and Heathrow Central station (Terminals 2 & 3). You can also use an Transport for London Oyster card or a contactless payment card which will not be charged when travelling between terminals.

Buses are free as long as you get off/on the buses on the perimeter roads of the airport and travel to and from the passenger terminals. Go beyond the perimeter roads and you pay the normal bus fare.You can take the last underground train to the airport which is at about 00:30 a.m. and gets you to Heathrow before 1:30 a.m. There are 24-hour coffee places that you can go to inside Heathrow. Or you take the N9 night bus to Heathrow from Trafalgar Square. They are about every 20 minutes abd take about 75 minutes.

National Express operates a free coach service between London Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are quite close to each other and you can walk between them, but Terminal 4 is a separate building as is the new terminal 5.
National Express bus to Heathrow & central London
The National Express Heathrow service has its terminus at Victoria Coach Station and the buses go non-stop, there are no hotel pick-ups or drops. Most coaches only service the Heathrow Central Bus Station, not convenient for Terminals 4 or 5.You can walk between Terminals 2 and 3 via the pedestrian underpass. Heathrow Airport by Coach
The central bus station is located between Terminals 2 and 3, is open 24 hours and is well sign posted. It is a few minutes walk from the terminals via underground walkways. We recommend that you allow the following minimum connection times: 1 hour for connections within the same Heathrow terminal. 1 hour 30 minutes for connections that require travel between terminals at Heathrow.
The easiest way to get to Changi Airport Terminal 4 by public bus is to take 24, 27, 34, 36, 53 and 858 get you to Terminal 2 after which you can connect to the complimentary T2-T4 shuttle bus. The shuttle bus pick up point is at T2 Arrival Hall Door 1 and will drop you off at T4 at Departure Hall Door 3.
Terminal 4 and Terminal 5

Where you can use your pass. You can travel for free anywhere in England, including London on local bus services. Free travel is not available on tourist buses or coach services like megabus.com and National Express.
Terminal 2 or Terminal 3

National Express coaches will pick up and drop you off at stops 13 and 14 just outside the Terminal 4 building, and transfers to Terminal 5 and the Central Bus Station can be made via stop 7.
If you miss your coach and want to travel on a later service, you'll need to buy a new ticket. You can only use your ticket for the journey you booked.

RailAir operate a dedicated coach service which runs non-stop from Reading Station to Heathrow Airport. This coach service departs from Reading station every 20 minutes (or up to 30 minutes in the early hours of the morning) and travels to terminals 2, 3 and 5.
The Paddington Heathrow Express is a dedicated rail express link into central London. 15 minutes, every 15 minutes is the slogan. The Heathrow Express service is a premium train service, offering the fastest transfer between Heathrow and central London.
Buses run from the Central Bus Station at Heathrow which is between Terminals 2 and 3. Terminals 4 and 5 are at the other side of the airport. (You can use the free Heathrow Express trains that run every 15 minutes to Heathrow Central Station underneath the bus station from Terminals 4 and 5).
For the fastest route from Kings Cross St Pancras to Heathrow simply take the underground (on either the Hammersmith and City line or the Circle line) directly to London Paddington. Once you have arrived at London Paddington follow the signs and take the Heathrow Express direct to the airport.
