Hi yes food, drinks and alcohol are allowed. However just be aware that glass bottles are not. You can definitely take water and soft drinks in but not sure about alcohol, they might even crack down on soft drinks. It's worth double checking on the Silverstone website.

The nearest train station to Silverstone is Wolverton Rail Station. Wolverton Station is 10.3 miles away from Silverstone and offers direct train services to London Euston, Birmingham New Street and Northampton Rail Stations.
What to take. Make sure you've got what you need to enjoy the action: You can take in chairs, but the smaller the better (not just because of concerns about obstruction, but because it will be easier to carry).
Wolverton station is the closest train station to Silverstone (by a small margin) but there are not usually shuttle buses available from here. Instead its better to catch a train to Banbury, Milton Keynes Central or Northampton – all within 30km of the circuit.
