Aerodactyl can be obtained from an in-game trade for a Chansey.
Aerodactyl's Old Amber can be obtained in Pewter City, at the back of the museum (you need to have Cut HM01). Omanyte or Kabuto's fossils can be obtained in Mt. Moon. You can only get one of them, so to get the other one you'll need to trade.
Note: You must obtain HM03 Surf and HM01 Cut before reaching Aerodactyl. - Aerodactyl is a fossil Pokémon, which means its particular fossil must be retrieved, (the Old Amber) and delivered to the Cinnabar Island Scientist in order for it to resurrect and come to life.
With some planning, anyone can get both sets of fossilized Rock and Water Pokemon in “Pokemon LeafGreen.” Go to the second basement level of Mt. Moon and defeat the Super Nerd's Grimer, Voltorb and Koffing. Choose either the Dome Fossil or the Helix Fossil.
Kabutops is a stronger physical Attacker and is a bit faster than Omastar, but Omastar makes up for the lack of speed with better physical Defense and HP, and is a strong Special Attacker. You can also just pick the one you think looks coolest.
Dome gets you Kabuto, Helix gets you Omanyte. They are both type Rock/Water. I prefer Kabuto, but it is up to you.
First things first, you need to collect the fossil that can be resurrected into Aerodactyl. Return to Pewter City once your partner Pokemon learns the Secret Techniques Chop Down. Head to the tree behind the Pewter City Museum of Science and use Chop Down to get into the back room of the museum.
Trainer Comments. Meta For over 2 years, Aerodactyl has been sitting on the bench of Rock Type Pokémon, as it was not usable in any situations. Thankfully, with the arrival of Rock Throw and Rock Slide to it's moveset, Aerodactyl finally has a good niche as a Rock user.
The Helix Fossil to the left will grant you Omanyte, while the Dome Fossil on the right will grant you a Kabuto. The choice is yours, but here's what the fossils will turn into later in the game: Dome Fossil: Kabuto (#140) -- which evolves into Kabutops (#141)

Archen (Japanese: ???? Archen) is a dual-type Rock/Flying Fossil Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is resurrected from a Plume Fossil and evolves into Archeops starting at level 37.

You can do this by completing the following steps:
- Head to Cinnabar Island.
- Enter Cinnabar Lab (the building left of the Pokémon Center).
- Go to the back right corner and talk to the man in the lab coat. He will offer to resurrect any fossil that you have.
The Fossil Restoration specialist is found on Route 6 and is easily accessed via Flying Taxi to the Route 6 fast-travel point. If you talk to her, she'll ask you for two fossils, which she'll then put together to create a freaky chimera of a Pokemon.
To revive a Fossil Pokémon, you'll need another, different half. You can get these Fossils by talking to the Digging Duo brothers, who are located in the Wild Area near the Pokémon Nursery. The two brothers can both dig out fossils. However, the chance is higher when digging with the Skill brother.
Where to restore fossils. Head back to Route 6 and talk to Cara Liss, the fossil restoration professor. Only when you have two compatible fossils will she allow you to restore them into a Pokémon. If you do not have the prequisitive items, she'll just continue talking about fossil Pokémon.
Type: Null will evolve into Silvally when leveled up with high friendship/happiness. You can increase friendship in the following ways: Give Type: Null a Soothe Bell to hold. It will double the amount of friendship that the pokémon earns when you do the following things.
To have a specific type, you need to have it holding the particular memory. Now, to evolve Type: Null into a Silvally, you need to raise its friendship with you. Luckily, Pokémon Sword and Shield have plenty of methods on how you can go about this.
Both brothers have the ability to excavate fossils, but the skilled (left-hand side) brother is the better choice, because he can find all four types of fossils. The stamina, right-hand, brother, meanwhile, can only find two fossils depending on your version of the game.
You aren't able to breed fossil Pokemon (even with Ditto), and you can only soft reset your game to shiny hunt fossils. All the fossil parts are available in every game, there are just certain parts that are rarer in other versions.
Dracovish is a Water/Dragon-type Pokémon and #376 in the Galar Pokédex for Pokémon Sword & Shield. It is one of the fossil Pokémon. Dracovish does not evolve.
Can You Breed Dracovish? Unfortunately, getting Dracovish is a little bit more difficult than most Pokemon, due to it being a fossil. This means it cannot be bred, not even with Ditto! Your only option here is to get lots of Fossils and keep making new ones until they have decent IVs.
Kabutops evolves from Kabuto using 50 Kabuto candies. The Helix Fossil Pokemon, Omanyte, is found near rivers and lakes areas or rocky areas near water. Omanyte can also be commonly hatched from 10km eggs.
Locations: To get Kabuto, go to Mount Moon's bottom floor and get the Dome Fossil. Note that if you pick the Dome, you won't be able to get the Helix Fossil, which turns into Omanyte .
In Pokemon Red, the only way to obtain Mew was by attending an official Nintendo event, where it would be transferred using a link cable. In Fire Red, there is a way to catch Mew. Ignore the gambler in front of the house between Lavender Town and Saffron City. Do not try to walk in front of him.
If the Helix fossil is your choice, you Omanyte who evolves into Omastar. The more defensive choice, they have better Defense and Sp.
Talk to the man inside and he will give you HM03 - Surf. Now you have Surf, you can travel on water by pressing A next to a Surfable area. Now leave the Safari Zone. Now let's head to the Warden's house, the one to the right of the Pokecenter.

- Open your Bag to the Key Items section.
- Teach Fly to one of your Pokémon.
- Use Fly to move quickly between cities and towns.
