Maisenta is a female Hyur vendor. She is located in The Knot in Gridania.
Since it's only a baby, you can't ride it. Just seeing it will melt your heart, though. Maybe it can grow up during the game, after enough time passes.
Gysahl Greens are primarily used to have the player's chocobo dig up items while riding. Gysahl Greens are sold by vendors at Chocobo Stables. They can also be used as feed while raising chocobos.
Chocobo Companions are unlocked after the completion of My Feisty Little Chocobo quest at level 30 or higher. The starting quest is acquired from an NPC named Docette, located in Camp Tranquil in South Shroud (X:17, Y:28). You must have acquired your Chocobo Mount before you can start this quest.

How to get the chocobo mount. After you become a part of a Grand Company, accept the quest called “My Little Chocobo.†The reward for this small mission is an item that will let you summon your own chocobo. This quest requires you to give an item called a Chocobo Issuance to a character in your Grand Company.
How To Unlock My Little Chocobo in Final Fantasy XIV
- The player needs to be at least Level 20.
- The player needs to complete "The Company You Keep" story quest.

Feed the food to your chocobo in the stables 10 times and it becomes favored. After that you can go back to kuriel root and it won't change the favored status. To take advantage of food with your chocobo, you first pull your chocobo out using gyshal greens just like you always did. You then use the food.
You can set a favorite food for your Chocobo when you feed him the same food 10 times in a row in the stable. - You can take your chocobo out of the stable between each time you feed him without problem. - You will have a message on your screen when the food will become his favorite one.

You can either purchase Thavnairian onion seeds from the marketboard and grow them yourself, or cross-breed other common plants to obtain the seeds. Thavnairian onion seeds take 10 days to grow. If you cross-breed to get the seeds, expect to spend an extra 5 to 6 days waiting for your crosses to sprout.
