Their customer service is the best from my experience. They even paid return shipping on the stuff I had to return. I would have no reservations about purchasing anything from them. Yes - legit and trustworthy.
Newegg itself is as reliable as it gets. There's a difference between quality products and a legitimate storefront with good service. Newegg is definitely the latter and by virtue of offering such a large selection necessarily is going to have parts stocked which range in performance and failure rate and such.

Unfortunately, based on the comments on my original post, it's clear that Newegg.com doesn't care that there is a scam happening with their platform. I'd encourage people to just call their credit card company and place a block on Newegg.com so that no charges can be placed on your card from this subpar company.
Newegg is one of the most reputable sites to buy parts from, I wouldn't hesitate on purchasing from them. Newegg is a great site, HOWEVER make sure you are buying it from Newegg itself. They implemented something like Amazon has where other sellers can put their products on Newegg's site.

Yes they are trustworthy. But sites like amazon can sometimes offer a better warranty and often faster and more reliable shipping times. Newegg is by no means "un-safe", I buy from them quite often.

The reason Newegg can have ACTUAL sales is because in the US they have a significant market share, thus they buy in bulk at a cheaper price and then Australian retailers because they arent direct to consumer.
