In summary, the vivoactive 4 is more than enough accurate for a recrational jogger or cyclist. It's even accurate enough to challenge the Forerunner and fenix line of watches. I did find on a few tests the vivoactive was off by 0.01, but this was not too frequent and I didn't get into scientific testing.
Garmin Vivoactive 4 is waterproof and can be worn in the shower, on the beach, or in the swimming pool. Vivoactive 4 has a pre-installed pool swimming activity, which can track distance, speed, style, SWOLF strokes, drills, and much more, when you swim in a pool.
Can you answer calls on Garmin Vivoactive 4? Yes, you can easily answer calls from your Garmin Vivoactive 4.
Unlike its predecessor, the Vivoactive 4 even optically tracks your heart rate while swimming. Garmin has a separate app called Connect IQ, which is basically an app store for the Vivoactive 4. There, you can download apps like Find my Car and Maps, data fields like estimated body temperature, watch faces, and widgets.

Garmin Vivoactive 4 review: VerdictIt doesn't offer quite as seamless an integration to your smartphone as the Apple Watch does with iPhones or the Galaxy Watch Active 2 does with Samsung's Galaxy phones, but it's more advanced than both those watches at tracking workouts.

Unlike the Vivoactive 3, the Vivoactive 4 includes on-board music storage without having to pay a premium for a special edition. Spotify is one of music services that allows you to download playlists to the watch (with a paid Spotify Premium account).
You can use the Garmin Vivoactive 4 to track running, biking, pool swimming, golfing, and many more focused exercises. It's actually great to see the extensive golf support that includes integration with Garmin's Approach CT10 club trackers.
GPS running watches last between 5-35 hours, depending on the quality and price of the watch. Some high-end watches can last for over 120 hours.

The Venu and Vivoactive 4 don't. If you want these features, check out the mid-range Forerunners (245, 735xt, 935) and the Fenix 5 and 6. No audio prompts: this is especially surprising considering that this is a pretty basic feature.
The Vivoactive 4 is an always-on watch, meaning the display never turns off. While this is how every Garmin watch except the Venu works (and even that has an always-on option too), it's not as common within the more broad smartwatch world.
What's different between the Venu 2 and the Venu 2sThe Venu 2s, like all of Garmin's smartwatches, is the smaller version of the watch. The only other difference is that the Venu 2s can store up to 650 songs while the larger Venu stores up to 2000 songs.

The biggest benefits of using this kind of screen tech is easier to view in bright sunlight and perhaps more crucially, has less of an impact on battery life. It's a big reason why Garmin has been able to deliver such exceptional battery life on its watches. Then you have the Venu's color AMOLED touchscreen display.
Garmin has upgraded its premium Venu smartwatch for 2021 (via DC Rainmaker and Ars Technica). It now comes in two sizes instead of a single 43mm-sized model. The 45mm Venu 2 houses a 1.3-inch 416 x 416 OLED screen.
