Rocket League is now available for free! `
Among the many things that Psyonix mastered with Rocket League, one that really stands out to me is the 'easy to play, difficult to master' nature of the game. The game's concept itself is simple enough: players are divided into two teams, there's two goals, and a ball.
VAR stands for video assistant referee. Instead of just one person, a team of three people work together to review decisions made by the main referee. They do this by watching video footage of the relevant occurrences.
It's been a long time coming for Rocket League to switch to free to play. For those unaware, Psyonix's cars-meets-soccer game, Rocket League, is set to go free to play for everyone on September 23, 2020, at 8am PT/11am ET.
Human drivers or sentient cars? It's a question that has dogged the football car game ever since its inception - who is driving Rocket League's cars? Of course, the four-wheeled sports machines of Rocket League are controlled directly by players.

For some reason, trying to score goals with a bunch of cars sounded like the perfect solution to his problem.
Known as autoball, or autobol, the first match took place on the pitch of the FC Frankonia soccer team in Karlsruhe, Germany in 1933. Since then it has disappeared and been resurrected several times, each with a slightly different spin on the game.
