These exist as paid because the ones making them do this for a living. They need money for their time. Its possible to get mods and skins for all versions of Bedrock, but it is unrestricted on Windows 10 and PE. Java is a completely different code, and Bedrock is for accessibility.

Bedrock and java don't crossplay though. PC players need windows 10 edition to play with bedrock players. All java edition users get the windows 10 edition for free. So keep that in mind!

Minecraft's next update is the last for Wii U, Vita, PS3, Xbox 360. Update Aquatic, the next big content drop for Minecraft, will be the last to arrive on older console platforms. After this, Microsoft will no longer update the game's Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, or those on PlayStation Vita or Wii U.
